BioFire® ME Control Panel M262 ist für den In-vitro-Einsatz als Qualitätskontrolle zur Überwachung der Leistung von Labor-Nukleinsäuretestverfahren zum qualitativen Nachweis von Escherichia coli K1, Haemophilus influenzae, Listeria monocytogenes, Neisseria meningitidis, Streptococcus agalactiae, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Cytomegalovirus, Enterovirus, Herpes-simplex-Virus 1 vorgesehen.
Herpes-simplex-Virus 2, menschliches Herpesvirus 6, menschliches Parechovirus, Varizella-Zoster-Virus und Cryptococcus neoformans/gattii mit dem BioFire FilmArray® Meningitis/Encephalitis (ME) Panel-Assay, durchgeführt auf BioFire FilmArray-Systemen.
Das BioFire ME Control Panel M262 besteht aus zwei Kontrollen, BioFire ME Positive M263 und BioFire ME Negative M264. BioFire ME Positive M263 enthält synthetische RNA, die Genomsegmenten von Krankheitserregern entspricht.
BioFire ME Negative M264 enthält Nicht-Ziel-RNA.
